The Scottish Cup clash with Clyde at Broadwood (capacity 8,000) will be live on Sky TV on Sunday the 8th of January, NOT Friday as previosuly reported.
Celtic won 5-0 there last season on a Sunday, so maybe that’s a good omen.
This Friday though, UEFA will honour Celtic as one of the 21 sides to have won the European Cup (the real ?historic achievement? for a Scottish side, not just reaching the last 16).
They will present the club with a commemorative plaque (you don?t get those for finishing second in a group of four) and Jock Stein will also be honoured alongside other great managers in the tournament?s history.
Chief Executive Peter Lawwell is the man enjoying the jolly to Switzerland, but at least he is taking John Clark with him.
