How much money do we think Ange will get to spend this summer? Including (hopefully) the money we spend on Jota and CCV?

Another £10m? £15m?

Who knows right? Because in Scottish football those kinds of sums of money are just ridiculous right?

If we look at the Jota and CCV signings alone, they could cost in excess of £16m if the quoted figures being banded about are correct.

Now I know that won’t just be money paid out in one lump sum. Of course not.

But it will still need to be paid. And if it is, are the board of a mind to invest anymore than that?

They are according to transfer expert Dean Jones.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Jones made this revelation, “They have to prioritise those two deals [Jota and CCV] but, from what I’m told, they will get additional backing too.

“I think that the success in terms of recruitment so far under Ange has convinced the club that this isn’t a gamble.

“He doesn’t bring in players that he’s not convinced will fit into what he’s doing.”

What we have also learned is that Ange also has an eye for a bargain so maybe that will also be on the mind of the Celtic board as well.

Spend big on two marquee signings and then rely on Ange’s thriftiness as sniffing out a bargain.

This summer will be very interesting indeed.
