Celtic is home to vast swathes of incredible talent, and that stretches right from the first team through to the Academy. For example, Callum McGregor has this season emerged as one of Scotland’s finest talents, whilst new recruits like Timo Weah continue to flourish at Celtic Park.
The Celtic Academy is also helping to produce some fantastic young talents, and one such example is Karamoko Dembele. Despite still being a teenager, he’s been impressing at various levels within the Celtic developmental system.
In fact, he’s so young that until now, he’s not even been eligible to play for the Celtic first team – but that’s changed this week. Indeed, Dembele turned 16 on Friday, and as a result, he’s able to play for the Hoops’ first team.

The club have sent their birthday wishes to the 16-year-old over on Twitter, and unsurprisingly, fans have had a lot to say about him. It seems as though many are eager for him to get a chance in the first team – perhaps even from this weekend.
Though that is unlikely, that isn’t going to stop fans dreaming. See below:
