Celtic have again been left licking their wounds after an away performance in European competition, this time on the receiving end of a 3-1 defeat to RB Salzburg in Austria.
After winning the first group match in the competition at home to Rosenborg, Brendan Rodgers’ side were hoping to add more points to their tally but failed to impress despite taking the lead in the match through Odsonne Edouard.
Defensively the Scottish champions were left wanting with players like Jack Hendry and Mikael Lustig frustrating supporters most of all.
The Hoops failed to deal with fairly simple balls into the box, making it far too easy for the Austrian league leaders to demolish Celtic in the second half.
After recent improvement, the pressure is again on Hendry to show he has what it takes to play consistently in the Hoops. The patience of fans is rapidly running out with many believing he isn’t good enough.

Just watched the 2nd half. How does Jack Hendry have 23 appearances for Celtic? Celtic have alot to answer for aswell, he was a youth player at Celtic for 6 years. Who the fuck coached him to defend like that.

I have a certain amount of sympathy for Jack Hendry. However, if Brendan insists on playing him at this time then he will ruin the boy's career. At this time he should be nowhere near the first team.

Ive sat on the fence over jack hendry so far but after watching that, hes no even close to being good enough for celtic. 2 of the goals conceded tonight came from him not being close enough to his man and just basic defending. Makes boyata look like Maldini! Very frustrating!!!
