The Scottish Premiership player of the month for October has been announced with Celtic’s Mohamed Elyounoussi taking the award as reported by Celtic’s official website.
The winger had a slow start to his time at Parkhead with Mikey Johnston being preferred on the left-hand side of Celtic’s attack but the £16m man, on-loan from Southampton, has been in stunning form of lat with 7 goals and 6 assists in 12 appearances.
Hoops fans are keen to get both or their Southampton loanees signed up on permanent deals with Fraser Forster also impressing, both still have plenty time on their contracts so the English Premier League’s side top flight status could have an effect on any chance of deals being done.
Who would you rather Celtic sign?
Elyounoussi
Forster
Celtic fans took to Twitter at the announcement and made their feelings clear on where they see the Norway international’s future.

Elyounoussi’s recent form has had Bhoys fans no longer pining after forgotten man Scott Sinclair, despite his best efforts to remain in the limelight, the on-loan winger has nailed down the “troublesome” left-wing spot, he just needs to get himself fit and firing on all cylinders again.
