With Celtic progressing through to the next stage of the Europa League last night despite losing to RB Salzburg, near neighbours Rangers went crashing out of the competition as they lost to Rapid Vienna.
Former Celtic striker Moussa Dembele clearly enjoyed the European week of action and he took to social media to celebrate.
Great European week 😊. Qualified for my first Champions League knockout stage games, Celtic going through, Rangers out😂…😊💪🏿! Thought to Griff, hope to see him back on the pitch soon! @dembelition

The 22-year-old departed Celtic last summer in a reported £20 odd million deal with French side Lyon and whilst there are those who celebrate his efforts over his two years with us, that saw a return of over 40 goals, others are still irked by the manner of his departure.
Whilst I think plenty saw the spirit in his Tweet and welcomed it, it still served the purpose of having a gripe or two for some.
Move on Derek, don't be bitter, got nearly £20 mill for the big man ????

As can be seen from the above reactions from fans though, the split is obvious and plenty were prepared to take his attempt at banter in the spirit it was intended.
