Celtic strolled to victory against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park as Neil Lennon continued with his 3-5-2 formation and was once again vindicated with both strikers scoring to seal the three points.
Odsonne Edouard opened the scoring and was followed by Leigh Griffiths getting his second goal in two games as he cements his place in the first-team to once again prove his doubters wrong, he also provided the assist for Christopher Jullien’s header to make it 3-1 with twenty minutes left.
Much had been made of Griffiths’ celebration following his goal against Partick Thistle in the Scottish Cup and he is once again in the headlines after being subbed on the 80th minute after appearing to throw tape from his socks into the crowd.
Lennon will have a difficult decision to make when Ryan Christie and James Forrest are available for selection given the form of the Scotland international.
Will Lennon keep 3-5-2 shape when Forrest and Christie return?
Yes
No
Hoops fans took to Twitter after the result to celebrate a comfortable night’s work and to support Griff, once again, silencing his critics.

Celtic now look to have a viable plan B with Griffiths and Edouard as a partnership and Olivier Ntcham behind them, Lennon has made his side a lot less predictable with the subtle shift in shape as the title race hots up.
