Celtic fans hated the performance of Tom Rogic today against Rangers, after Neil Lennon’s side were handily beaten at Ibrox.

Going into the derby as Scottish champions, not much rested on the result of the match apart from pride, but the 2-0 loss was still desperately disappointing for supporters.

Goals from James Tavernier and Scott Arfield were enough for the home side to pick up the victory, giving them a big confidence boost ahead of the summer.

It’s our first defeat in domestic competition since our last match at Ibrox and calls into question a number of players’ roles in the current first-team.

Much of the criticism was aimed at Tom Rogic, who was almost completely anonymous in the Celtic midfield, doing little with the ball when he did have possession.

He was hauled off in the second half by Lennon, but not before angering a number of fans with his performance.

These fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on his Sunday display…

    • I think this was the worst performance by Celtic against Rangersin a long time.i also think Neil Lennon should definitely not be the manager for Celtic next season even if we win the Scottish cup

  • tom TRAGIC more like and he was not alone team totally devoid of any fighting spirit some should hang their heads in shame. When are the coaching staff ever going to learn that you can not score goals when you keep passing the ball backwards. 90 minutes one shot on goal that my granddaughter could have got out of her pram and scored.Professional footballer one would think not.Sincerely hope Dermott was watching this team and this coaching staff will take the club backwards just like so many of our passes.
