As Celtic near the end of the title run in and are on the cusp of what was widely regarded as an unlikely league title, the Celtic managers accomplishments, although a surprise to many media men and women in Scotland, is not so surprising for his compatriots in Australia.

As Ange continues to dominate Scottish football, the result in the Glasgow Derby which all but confirmed the league title has made news Down Under and opened up a litany of compliments to a manager they now widely regarded was under appreciated in his time as the Socceroos boss.

Roar is a huge media publication where bloggers and journalists send their work to be published for millions of readers in Australia.

And it was this publication that caught my eye. Not the article itself, but the comments.

And one from respected journalist Brendan Brumby, “Hands-down, one of the finest Australian football coaches of the last decade.

Recently, I had a chuckle while reading an article devoted to Ange’s infamous jumper collection.

“Rumour has it the sweaters are a talisman to the super manager.”

And here is the thing, if Ange continues his progress at Celtic he could very well be one of the finest Celtic managers in our recent history.
