Celtic supporters are hugely excited about Timothy Weah’s loan spell at the club after he scored on his debut against Airdrie in the Scottish Cup on Saturday.
The United States international came off the bench in the second half to round off the scoring in a 3-0 win after Scott Sinclair had already hit a double.
Showing excellent pace and movement to latch onto Dedryck Boyata’s classy through ball, Weah poked the ball beyond goalkeeper David Hutton to delighted fans in the stands and those watching on at home.
His loan deal may be a short-term one, until this summer, but many are letting themselves get very excited about what he might be able to achieve in the second half of the season.
