We all know that Celtic have a massive playing staff rebuild taking place (or at least hopefully organised) but another question that has been burning in the minds of Celtic supporters is, ‘Who is going to be part of Postecoglou’s backroom team?’

When Ange took the job he said that will be something he will analyse as the weeks go on but as yet, there has been no movement from the club in that regard.

If Australian agent Tony Rallis is to be believed, there will not be any new incomings as part of Ange’s backroom team.

Speaking on the Australian football podcast, Triple M The Real Football Show, Rallis made a sensational claim that will set alarm bells ringing amongst all the Celtic fans, “My understanding is that Celtic Football Club have told Ange that he asked to develop and inherit from within.

“He wasn’t allowed to take any staff. Whether that changes in time, I’m not sure but that was the initial programming,  that we want you to come in and educate and implement within our own environment, including within our own youths, the promotion of youth players from within our own academies.

“It’s all right to spend on a  multi million pound academy.

“I mean that great club. I have great experience with great players like Davy Provan that have come in. They should be producing a lot more than they are producing themselves.”

It seems to me that if this to be believed, the club have sold the fans a dead rubber. Ange will already have one hand tied behind his back before the team have even kicked a ball and it seems that John Kennedy and Gavin Strachan are here to stay.

It is also my belief that if this IS true, Dom McKay’s reputation, which Postecoglou’s reign will be judged on, will also be shot to pieces amongst the Celtic fanbase. What say you Dom?
