Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths’ disciplinary hearing with the Scottish FA into allegations of racist chanting has been delayed “indefinitely”.

“No new date will be set until Police Scotland conclude the on-going criminal investigation” – SFA statement

The SFA confirmed the hearing cannot proceed until police have concluded their own investigations.

The 23-year-old Scottish international must answer charges relating to his conduct while attending a Hibernian match in March.

It’s the third time the SFA’s deliberations have been postponed and a spokesman commented: “Thursday’s hearing has been cancelled, but no new date will be set until Police Scotland conclude the on-going criminal investigation.”
