There is absolutely no doubt Kyogo Furuhashi has taken not only Celtic, but Scotland by storm. What a player Ange Postecoglou has found.

Making a short substitute appearance against Hearts never really gave the Celtic fans a proper look at the Japanese international.

His starting debut against Jablonec was very impressive and and with a goal on his debut the Celtic fans were looking forward to seeing what he could do at Celtic Park and boy did he not disappoint.

A home league debut hat trick against Dundee, when in all honesty he could have nabbed five, coupled with his work rate and non stop running, the Celtic fans instantly fell in love with him.

And after todays goal and performance against Hearts, this love affair is going to continue for a long time to come.

Speaking in The Daily Record, former Celtic winger Paddy McCourt has been raving about Furuhashi and has planted a valuation on him already after just four games, that will give the Celtic board, not the fans goosebumps, “I don’t think I’ve been as excited about a Celtic player, as I am about him, in a long, long time.

“The club bought him for around £4 million. I’d say he’ll be worth in the region of £25-£30m mark in less than two years.

“He’s at a good age, and his name is going to spread around Europe quite quickly.
