Celtic fans are eager to see the club make a move for Wolfsburg defender Jeffrey Bruma this January, months after it was reported he could be on his way to Glasgow.
German publication Bild claimed in August that the Hoops were ready to table an offer for the 25-cap Dutch international, but no such move materialised.
Since then, Bruma has been frozen out of first-team action at Wolfsburg, making zero appearances despite putting his injury problems of last season behind him.
He looks set to leave the Bundesliga club this January and last weekend posted a cryptic message on Twitter, alerting supporters that such a move could be imminent.
My plan or God’s plan? Always believe. Amen. pic.twitter.com/4jUKGfqK3I

That’s led to Celtic supporters making the plea for him to make the switch to Brendan Rodgers’ squad, with fans desperate to see a quality centre-back to compete for places and take over from the eventual departure of Dedryck Boyata and Filip Benkovic.
These fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on a move for the player…
God says you’ve to come to @CelticFC Jeffrey.
