Brendan Rodgers will always be remembered as the manager responsible for starting the famous Quadruple Treble run.

Invincibles? All him. And he will go down as a legend for it.

But talk about how he left the club? Well that is a conversation that will always bring out bad vibes amongst the Celtic support.

Rodgers left Celtic back in 2018 when the club was halfway through their Double Treble season.

And not only did he leave Celtic in the lurch, it is well known he tried to take the backroom team and current Celtic captain Callum McGregor with him as well.

And that is something that the Hoops support will never forget.

Especially this Celtic fan that called The Go Radio Football Show. When the caller, Frank, was talking about Ange Postecoglou when the conversation turned to former Hoops boss, Brendan Rodgers, Frank went full on rage with his condemnation of the Leicester boss,  “Celtic did play good football with the manager during that period of winning six, seven and eight.

“I’m talking about the manager who is now at Leicester, who was our manager.

“I refuse to name him because of the way he treated Celtic supporters and Celtic football club. He’s a narcissist, a complete narcissist.

“He used us and he walked out on us with 10 games to go and didn’t even have a fleeting look behind him.

“It was all about him, it was always all about him and where he was going and the bottom line is he couldn’t wait.

“It was what he wanted and with 10 games to go in the season he walked out on the club.”
