With all the talk this week surrounding Kyogo Furuhashi’s injury dominating the Celtic airwaves, the fear amongst the fans was real as we waited to hear just how bad the injury the talismanic striker piked up against Real Betis on Thursday night really was.
It was a moment the fans dreaded. As soon as he pulled up holding the back of his leg, a collective 50,000 took a sharp intake of breath and a synchronised squeaky bum sound reverberated around the stadium.
But Ange Postecoglou did seem to give a positive update yesterday [Daily Record] when he allayed the Hoops fans fears, “We don’t think it is anything serious but as to whether he will be available for Sunday, we probably won’t know until tomorrow.
“I’ll make a decision then but nothing is confirmed.”
That news was met with widespread excitement, and relief, by the Celtic supporters as the fear of facing December without Jota and Furuhashi was seriously starting to sink in.
But one piece of news that excited the fans was a surprise omission from the Celtic B team as the tongues started to wag and give an idea of how Ange is preparing to cope with life without Furuhashi.
No Owen Moffat… https://t.co/BfJG9JaKx5

Moffat is a an attacking forward who can play down the left but also through the middle and after impressing during pre season with a goal against Sheffield Wednesday.
Could young Moffat be about to make his senior debut this afternoon should Kyogo be unavailable?
It seems from these Celtic fans reactions, it may not be such a bad thing:
I'd like to see him on Sunday maybe not start but defo come on
