‘He’s had his time’ – Loads of Celtic fans are convinced Neil Lennon shouldn’t be permanent manager

|

Plenty of Celtic supporters aren’t happy with the way the Hoops are playing under interim manager Neil Lennon right now, feeling he should not be appointed as Brendan Rodgers’ permanent replacement.

Lennon took on the Celtic task in extraordinarily trying circumstances and has so far remain undefeated, picking up impressive wins away to Hearts and Hibernian.

Recent displays against Aberdeen and Dundee have been incredibly lacklustre though and despite finding a way to win at Dens Park yesterday, many feel these matches are been proof enough he shouldn’t be appointed beyond this season.

It’s a pretty harsh assessment given the lack of time he’s had to really make changes to the Celtic team, but some supporters are hoping to see a big name arrive at Celtic Park who can make an immediate impact like Rodgers did in 2016.

The only way Lennon will change minds is if he keeps winning and that starts with the upcoming derby at home to Rangers at the end of the month.
