We all expect the announcement to made in the next couple of days. In fact, one of the names mentioned by this journalist, Vital Celtic reported on last week which leads me to believe he knew about this appointment all along!
Speaking on The Go Radio Football Show journalist, Mark Guidi, claimed that Eddie Howe’s representatives will be sounding out clubs down south before the fans popular choice decides to sign on the dotted line for the Hoops, “The jobs his if he wants it and I think he’s going to take the weekend to think about it. I think also part of the process from his representatives will be to see if there any other interested parties down south and basically they have got two or three days to show their hand if they want Eddie Howe.

“But Celtic have made their move. He’s been a name on the radar for about six months now. It’s now official. So much so, right down to the backroom staff, some people are saying that he’ll keep John Kennedy and Gavin Strachan.
“Others are saying he wants Peter Grant and Marvin Bartley, as part of his backroom staff. Others say he wants to bring in Richard Hughes, who worked with him (Howe) at Bournemouth as a Technical Director.
“But then some people say that job is still Fergal Harkins. But what we do know for sure is the Celtic job is Eddie Howe’s if he wants it.”
I think Howe will become the next Celtic gaffer. Howe needs to revive his career and he only needs to look at Brendan Rodgers to see what can await if you are successful with Scotland’s biggest club.
