Lots of Celtic fans have been reacting to footage from last season’s Old Firm Derby win over Rangers.
As I said yesterday, if there’s no football to be watched, then I suppose the next best thing is to dive into the archives to try and find some old footage of games to watch. Even better if they happen to be wins, better still if they involve victories over Rangers, and that’s exactly what the club did yesterday.
They took us back exactly one year to a pretty significant victory. It was one that pushed us 13 points clear of the Gers in our chase for eight in a row, and more or less put the overall title chase to bed when it comes to our city rivals.
A goal from Odsonne Edouard got proceedings started that day, only for us to be pegged back by a goal from Ryan Kent in the second half. Then with time ticking down, it was a goal from James Forrest that wrapped up the game, and pretty much the title as well.
Are you struggling to cope without football to watch on a regular basis?
Yes
No
And as is to be expected when it comes to games like this, Celtic fans just couldn’t contain their emotions as they gushed over what a fantastic day it was.
That just makes me sooooo happy ☘☘🇮🇪🇮🇪

What a day it was, went mental after Forrest scored, no breakfast that morning, straight whisky, celebrated then passed oot in the loo at 4 o’clock in the afternoon. Woke up at 7 and watched it back coz I couldn’t remember the winning goal, just remember goin mental. What a day
