Celtic midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng has described striker Gary Hooper as a ‘goal machine’ after claiming his tenth goal of the campaign at St Mirren.

“Gary is brilliant. I think he is a goal machine and has scored in the 90th minute two or three times” – Ki Sung-Yueng

The visitors had to wait until the deep into added time for the winner when substitute Paddy McCourt’s cross was met at the near post by Hooper, who joyously netted at the second attempt.

“Gary is brilliant. I think he is a goal machine and has scored in the 90th minute two or three times,” the South Korean international told ITV Sport

“It is hard to explain but he is a very good striker and he is the type of player you need to win the league,” he added. “‘We need goals and the goal difference could be very important at the end of the season.”
