Celtic have progressed to the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup after an easy 3-0 win against Clyde in less than perfect weather conditions. The draw was made immediately after the Hoops victory and a trip to Perth to face St Johnstone is on the cards for Neil Lennon’s men.

The Parkhead side has been in imperious form since returning from the winter break with seven wins in a row and scoring three or more goals in every game except one, despite a change of shape from Lennon, it was business as usual as they march towards a fourth consecutive treble.
Celtic have been comfortable winners against St Johnstone this season with an aggregate tally of 10 – 0 and the McDiarmid Park side offering little competition so far in the two games.
Hoops fans took to Twitter when the draw was made and – without counting their chickens – are looking forward to another trip to their second home, Hampden.

St Johnstone shouldn’t pose any real threat to Celtic as Lennon’s men continue to dominate domestic football and head towards yet another appearance at the national stadium.
