Celtic fans are keen on appointing Marcelo Bielsa as the club’s manager this summer.

According to OddsChecker, the Argentinian is a 20/1 shot to take charge at Celtic Park.

His season with Leeds United is now over and some are predicting he could be on his way out of Elland Road after failing to gain to promotion to the English Premier League.

Leeds have been a fantastic, blockbuster watch in the Championship this year, playing some fantastic football and finding themselves caught up in entertaining drama on and off the pitch.

Thought of as a tactical genius with a unpredictable temperament, Bielsa would certainly make life at Celtic Park interesting if he was given the job.

He does have a strong managerial record though, taking charge of international teams like Argentina and Chile as well as big clubs like Lazio and Marseille.

These fans certainly seem eager to see us make a move for the 63-year-old, taking to Twitter to share their thoughts this week…

  • Leeds scored so many late goals because of their play to the whistle style, something historically engrained in the Celtic Ethos so he would shoe in seamlessly.Still think Benitez is an outside bet, even tho bookies have him odds on.So called journo in the know,Keith Dowie and pundit Davey Provan, state Celtic have no chance as they can not afford his wages, well billionaire owner Dermot Desmond if he wants Rafa then money wont be the stumbling block,it will be Rafa’s reluctance to take the gig

  • I obviously wasn’t happy with the defeat against Rangers, the players didn’t show up for that game and Rangers were more hungry for the win, even although Celtic had injuries I believe that if it was Brendan Rodgers who was still in charge we would still have won that game, I like Lennon, But if we don’t win convincingly against Heart’s , I would be definitely interested in getting a new manager in, But Celtic need a new man for new recruits to join Celtic, as this will be important for next season, I’d like to see Rafa Benitez as our new manager for next season, but that’s only my opinion, there are more people who know better than me for the season ahead, but first we need a good win against hearts a week tomorrow
