Celtic fans continue to enjoy the flourishing partnership between Filip Benkovic and Dedryck Boyata, after watching the Hoops destroy Hearts at Celtic Park on Saturday.
With Craig Levein’s side still top of the table, it was important for Brendan Rodgers’ side to lay down a marker during the league clash but nobody expected it to be so easy.
The 5-0 win is just the latest incredible domestic result, with the Hoops again motoring on their way towards an eighth title in a row.
Two of the top performers on the afternoon were Benkovic and Boyata, who look like they’ve been playing together for years rather than a handful of times.
The pair likely won’t be in Glasgow next season but many are still hoping deals can be done to keep both around the club given how solid the defence looks when the pair feature.
Benkovic also shone at the other end of the pitch, scoring his first ever Celtic goal, much to his delight.

Benkovic and Boyata is a partnership that is probably beyond us, that's a real shame. I was fierce on Boyata after AEK but to be fair he's been committed and faultless since then, and I think he's playing with a slight injury. Benkovic is class. Both likely not long term.
