Celtic missed the chance to move ten points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership on Saturday, drawing 0-0 at home to Aberdeen.
With Rangers drawing away to Hibs on Friday night, yesterday’s encounter was a fantastic chance for the Hoops to open up an even larger gap over the second placed side but could not produce the goods against the Dons.
Celtic chances were few and far between, with creativity in midfield a real issue and retention of possession found lacking too from defence into more attacking areas.
One of the most criticised after the 90 minutes was German right-back Jeremy Toljan, currently on loan from Borussia Dortmund.
He had a difficult match and failed to properly cope with Aberdeen’s energetic pressing game, often found wasting possession or playing a simple ball that was not penetrative at all.
Also defensively suspect, his latest display has left many not up for signing him permanently at all. Some even think he shouldn’t be in the team right now.

Toljan is wan a they players who will probably inexplicably do something ridiculous like appear in a world cup final at some point a la Braafheid despite being truly dreadful.

Toljan wouldn't be in our top 3 right backs.

Funnily enough that was a performance reminiscent of Lennon’s last season in charge. Ye wouldn’t miss Toljan if that was his last game for Celtic. Hopefully McGregor, Rogic, Christie and Ntcham aren’t too far away.
