I think Saturday’s result against Livingston is going to rumble on right through until Celtic face Dundee next week.

Forget, Thursday, that game will take care of itself. Celtic need to get back onto winning ways, and quickly if they have any ambitions of keeping the pressure on Rangers at the top of the table.

There were MANY things wrong with the teams performance at Parkhead at the weekend but Hugh Keevins, speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, said that one decision taken by the manager, Ange Postecoglou, contributed to a disastrous day for the Celtic gaffer, “Congratulations to Livi for getting the draw at Celtic Park which means they have now deprive Celtic of five points in two games this season already.

“Bad decision making, I think, by Ange Postecoglou to start with Giakoumakis and I’m not saying it with the benefit of hindsight.

“I said  it at the very start of the game. Bad decision making that allows Giakoumakis, who’s had a terrible day, to take the last gasp penalty kick.

“An absolute gift of a penalty to Celtic. It was a penalty, but what a gift to a team who had done nothing to win the match on their own.

“Juranovic who scored two perfect penalties this season does not take it and Giakoumakis takes a shocking penalty which Max Stryek saves easily.

“And then to compound the felony, Giakoumakis then misses an absolutely sitter from inside the six yard box.

“H goes off the park with his head on his chest. And no wonder, he has had a terrible day. Celtic have had a terrible day. They could have gone top.

“A disastrous day for Ange Postecoglou.”
