We all love Kyogo Furuhashi right?

The  guy is not only a brilliant footballer but he clearly a well rounded young man and very respectful to his peers.

His energy and enthusiasm on the park is infectious and that is one of the reasons why the Celtic fans love him.

Now that he is off on international duty, the supporters will be crossing everything that he returns with no injury problems as they fear another repeat of the injury he suffered on his last bout of international games.

Well there is no need for the Hoops fans to be concerned as the Japanese striker gave an update on how his knee is holding up and reserved special thanks to those at the club for getting him back to full fitness.

Speaking to the media before his World Cup qualifiers, Kyogo said,   “There is no problem at all now with my knee.

“And for that, I must thank the people at my club for their cooperation and support so that I have been able to return quickly. I am grateful for them.

“I know there has been a lot of talk about what is my best position for Japan. In my opinion, it’s important not to just stick to a fixed position.

“If you can play your own way and do your own thing, it can be good for the team.”

That will be music to the Celtic fans ears but I am sure we will all be waiting with baited breath and will be hopeful that their talisman returns injury free over the next ten days.
