I see Brendan sanctioning this deal, do you?

According to the Scottish Sun, Sunderland want to sign Lewis Morgan from us in the summer transfer window on loan.

Sunderland, of course, were relegated from the Championship in England last season and are looking to rebuild with new owners and former St. Mirren manager Jack Ross in charge.

That, then, is where this link stems from with Morgan enjoying fine form under Ross as they got promoted from the Championship in our country last year.

Indeed, he was voted the Championship Player of the Year for St. Mirren and many of us probably would like to see what he can do for us close up.

Certainly, he’s said that he’s ready to try and make an impression for us but, at the same time, you could see this move happening.

The Verdict

I’d like to keep Morgan but I can see it happening and that he moves to Sunderland.

He’s a bright player but we’ve got a lot in his position and so if Brendan thinks it is best if he moves to Wearside then I don’t see many disagreeing with it.
