Image: Preprations underway for Celtic as build-up for crucial Motherwell tie begins

Our game over the weekend didn’t go to plan, but all is not lost. We’ve got another opportunity to prove our worth on Wednesday against Motherwell, and it’s fair to say that it’s a massive tie.

We can’t afford another poor result, as it could prove to have a huge impact on the course of our season. We may have progressed in Europe, but that can’t come at the cost of poor domestic form, and we can’t afford to make a habit of dropping points at such an important point in the season.

Fortunately, Celtic don’t appear to be taking the fixture lightly, with preparations well underway for the game.

Celtic revealed on their official Twitter page that the Bhoys are already back in training for the tie, with a number of determined faces on display at Lennoxtown.

These pictures are exactly what we need to be seeing, especially after the frustration of the weekend.

Nothing but three points will be tolerated on Wednesday. We simply cannot afford to lose out on any of our chances to catch up with Steven Gerrard and Rangers. We need to get back to where we belong.
