Celtic’s transfer news is certainly going into overdrive this week.

With news that young Johnny Kenny is about to be announced, and that Jota and Cameron Carter Vickers are, hopefully, in talks to join the Glasgow giants permanently, the Celtic fans are in for a month of updates and claims like never before.

With the Hoops already capturing their three Japanese stars, they have also been heavily linked to Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Hannes Wolf.

Should Celtic sign Martin Boyle from Hibs?

This story has been reported over the course of the last week but a Bundesliga newsletter has revealed that German media outlet Kicker, has reported that two potential team interested in the Austrian have dropped out of the race for his signature.

Bulinews.com released their update late last night and still named Rapid Vienna as a potential rival to Celtic to capture Wolf this January window.

Another bit of good news is that the news outlet says that the German club are in financial dire straits which could lead to a cut price deal being brokered as Gladbach look to recoup some of the €12m Euro’s they paid for the 22 year old last summer.

This is a story I am sure that will develop as the weeks go on and with less than four weeks to go, there is still plenty of time for Celtic to make their move.
