Initial impression of potential Celtic transfer arrival should excite: Opinion

According to CNN Turk, Celtic are looking at the potential signing of Srdjan Babic from Serbian side Red Star Belgrade in the summer.

The signing – or potential signing – of Babic, though, should excite based on early impressions.

Of course, it is always hard to tell how a player from a league like that will adapt to a league like ours but he has plenty going for him.

He is 22-years-old, so should only get better and at 6ft 5in he is also a towering presence that should be able to dominate.

A centre-half, he plays in an area that we need to add to badly and, as well as that, he has experience of playing in the Champions League.

A good few boxes ticked, then, at this stage.
