James McClean wants to play for Celtic in the future by the looks of things after he featured for Ireland in Scott Brown’s testimonial.
The West Brom winger was relegated from the Premier League and might be looking for a new challenge now that they are off to the Championship.
We’d obviously represent a good step-up for him, then, and it’s evident that he wants to play for us when you consider his quotes – as taken by Celtic Bible.
James McClean has admitted he dreams of signing for Celtic.
He said: “That’s always been the dream.”
“Unfortunately that’s not up to me. If it was up to me it would have happened a long time ago.”

The Verdict
To me, he’s a good player but I’m not sure exactly we need him right now.
I like his directness and obvious love for the club, that would mean he always puts a shift in but, at the same time, we’ve got a lot in his position.
And saying that, we’ve got better options in his position in my opinion too.
