As Celtic gear up to the next leg of the Champions League qualifier against the Danes, there is a cry out from all pundits for Ange Postecoglou to take a look at the goalkeeping situation after Vasilis Barkas howler which let FC  Midtjylland back into the tie.

Former Celtic defender, Mark Wilson agreed and speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, he urged Celtic sort out the goalkeeping situation if they have any ambition of achieving success this season, “There has to come a point where you see, it’s just not working for this guy.

“Now he might go away to another club and be an outstanding goalkeeper but for his time at Celtic, he’s made too many mistakes.

“And you can’t build on any performance or get anywhere, when you’ve got that level of fragility at the back.

“Non chances becoming goals.

“I think there will be improvement in this Celtic side with the way they play the way they press.

“But they’ve got to cut out these mistakes. First and foremost and have to get the goalkeeping situation sorted out to stand any chance having any success this season.”

Wilson played alongside Artur Boruc in his time at Celtic and my word, what would the Celtic fans give to have someone of his ability between the sticks for the coming season.

With Celtic being linked with Fraser Forster once again, and with the big Geordie knocking back Southampton’s latest contract offer, many seem to think he could be on his way back to Paradise as Celtic do seems certain to dip into the transfer market to bolster their goalkeeping position.
