The man just gets on about his business, no fanfare, no trumpeting of what he is or is not going to do, and no sycophantical media coverage about how he can dominate Scottish football for years to come.
And that is summarised by his work in the transfer market.
Not long after announcing Yuki Kobayashi, it now looks like the second signing of the transfer window (which isn’t even opened yet!) is set to be announced.
Alistair Johnston has been the subject of much speculation in the media. And whilst Postecoglou had remained tight-lipped about the whole deal, the Canadian international did drop some small hints this week that a move could be forthcoming.
No hints are required now as North American journalist Manual Veth confirms that the deal has been agreed for around €4m.

This will now cast doubt over the future of Celtic’s Croatian right back Josip Juranovic who, before the World Cup kicked off, was being touted for a move away from the club.
If that move does now happen, the Celtic fans at least now know that there is a ready made replacement there to step in should Juranovic move on.
