The saga rumbles on at how the Celtic board are setting up the whole managerial structure for next season at Celtic Park.  No doubt, there will be a Director of Football as the rumours at who would be suitable continue to circulate around the media.

One name that seems to be consistently doing the rounds for the D.o.F position simply will not go away and it was once again name dropped by reporter Mark Guidi on last nights Clyde 1 Superscoreboard.

Guidi was damning in the current set up at Paradise and said that the whole football club has “imploded” this season and he is absolutely correct.  He named a supposed “favourite” for job when speaking to host, Gordon Duncan,  “The whole football club has imploded. The whole football club from top to bottom is responsible for the shambolic season that’s taken place and different people are responsible for different things. And I do believe that Fergal Harkin remains favourite for the Director of Football job.

Would you have John Kennedy as next Celtic manager?

YES

NO

Guidi didn’t stop there, as when asked on whether he believed John Kennedy would be accepted as the new manager, if appointed, by the Celtic fans, the reporter wasn’t having  any of it, “And on John Kennedy I think there’s, certainly in terms in the eyes of the Celtics supporters, giving John Kennedy the job full time regardless of how highly rated he is inside Celtic Park by the current regime. I think it’s an absolute no no for John Kennedy.”

With season book renewals due to be sent to the Parkhead faithful, with the greatest of respect to Kennedy, he is not a name that would make the majority of fans part with their hard earned cash.
