Goalkeeper Craig Gordon expects a confident Hearts side arriving at Celtic Park this weekend.

“I think they will come in thinking they can take something from the game” – Craig Gordon

The Tynecastle outfit have experienced a decent start to the campaign following their promotion at the end of last season.

During the week they recovered with a couple of very late goals to knock Kilmarnock out of the Scottish League Cup – and Gordon reckons his former club will be fancying their chances of creating an upset.

“Hearts started the season really well,” he told
Celtic’s official website. “But they went through a three-game patch where they didn’t pick up anything.

“They won on Wednesday night with a good comeback win so that will certainly give them a good boost and a good bit of confidence coming into this one,” Gordon added. “I think they will come in thinking they can take something from the game, so it should be a good one.”
