Writing in his Daily Express column and as quoted then by the Scottish Sun, former Celtic and Arsenal striker Charlie Nicholas has suggested the main reason behind the Hoops having the edge in the title race this season.
We’re certainly in a battle this campaign at the moment.
We’re back level after results went our way in the league but it is going to be tight run thing by the looks of things with Rangers harping on about how this year – again – is their year.
However, Nicholas is well of the opinion that we have a big edge in the race thanks to our mental toughness.
“On the evidence of Rangers’ display at Tynecastle on Sunday in the 1-1 draw with Hearts it could be a difficult season for them again.
“When it comes to coping with a tough mental challenge Celtic are streets ahead of Rangers.”
It’s hard to disagree.
At the end of the day they went top before the international break, made a load of noise and have since ended up behind us once again after one more round of fixtures.
We know how to win it, and we will be able to again this season.
