There seems to be this narrative being banded about that somehow Kyogo goes down too easily.

It’s a ridiculous notion that needs to be addressed by the club as rival players continue to target the Japanese striker off the ball.

Kyogo has been the victim of off the ball incidents with three defenders of different clubs.

Kyogo has been slapped, clawed in the face and had his midriff skin twisted by opposition players as they try to put him off his game.

As the discussion on The Go Radio Football Show was centred around VAR, the pundits were discussing the use of the system to try and eradicate diving from the game when journalist Mark Guidi, made this incredible claim, “It’s finance and also training all the officials.

“It’s not something that can be done in one or two training sessions. It will take a minimum six months and they might struggle to get it in on time for July or August but it’s got to come.

“And on diving, Kyogo has not covered himself in glory. But it’s not exclusive to Kyogo.

“It happens in Scottish football. And what I’d say is, as I’ve said this many times on another station, for me, I’d love to see the PFA take the initiative, set an agenda on their own,  and say, ‘We do not condone diving you are cheating your fellow members‘.

“We give referees stick for getting decisions wrong and rightly so. Sometimes referees are being conned.  It’s not necessary. But it’s not exclusive to Kyogo. It happens in the game. And it needs to be stamped out.”

When has Kyogo dived? Have I missed something? Has he tried to con the referee to win a penalty?

I have seen him abused off the ball right enough? Can someone enlighten me here?
