All eyes turn away from the league action this weekend as we look forward to taking on Hibernian in the Betfred Cup.
The Hoops are going along very well this season right now and are capable of winning another treble.
With Rangers keeping close, it is going to be tough but surely they’ll end up fading away whilst we’re also going to be bang at it against Hibs to get into the final.
One man that is set to miss the next few weeks, though, is Vakoun Bayo with Neil Lennon confirming that the striker is set to face surgery potentially:
🗣️ NL: “Bayo may require surgery, he’s seeing a specialist so if he does need surgery we are looking at maybe six weeks. @Leighgriff09 is back training tomorrow but we’ll have to wait and see his condition.”

It’s certainly not good news for the striker with us looking pretty thin up top as things stand.
He’s a player that hasn’t featured much of course, but you’d rather have him available than not, and it remains to be seen if he’s facing surgery.
Even so, it’s a big potential setback.
