Celtic manager Neil Lennon has played down reports of a possible move to Norwich City.

“I cannot help the speculation” – Neil Lennon

The 42-year-old has been linked as a potential candidate to replace under-pressure Chris Hughton at Carrow Road, although the Canaries earned an important 1-0 home victory against Hull City at the weekend.

“It’s just speculation but I think they won, so I’m delighted for Chris. I think he’ll be safe for another while,” Lennon told BBC Scotland. “He’s doing a good job and keeping them out of the bottom three.

“I cannot help the speculation,” he added. “I’m flattered, but he’s a good man and a good manager in that job so good luck to him.”
