Neil Lennon has revealed that he is expecting another bid from Arsenal for Celtic defender Kieran Tierney as top English clubs enter the last days of the transfer window.
In Scotland, we’re doing things a little more orthodox by having the window shut in just under a month from now, but in England they’re closing up before their season starts on Friday with Liverpool v Norwich.
That means there isn’t long left if Arsenal want to sign Kieran Tierney this summer, and it’ll be good to at least have the saga over one way or another so we know where we all stand.
Indeed, a new bid is being expected from Neil Lennon in the coming days and he had this to say via the Daily Star:
“Nothing has changed yet.
“It’s not speaking from insider knowledge, but in my experience, another bid will come in.”
We can only hope that nothing comes in for him in the final few days but it would be a surprise if that was the case.
Clearly, it’s going to be a tense week.
