Celtic manager Neil Lennon was expecting a difficult challenge when travelling to face Raith Rovers in the Scottish Cup fifth round.

“We’ve got a really tough game on Sunday which we will treat with the utmost respect” – Neil Lennon

The Hoops have already accounted for their first division opponents in the Scottish Communities League Cup this season when striker Gary Hooper scored four times at Celtic Park.

However, Lennon appreciates the task will be a completely different proposition this time around with his charges now doing the travelling.

“We’ve got a really tough game on Sunday which we will treat with the utmost respect and try to progress in that competition,” Lennon told Celtic’s official website. “It’ll be a different environment, a smaller ground, but it will be packed.

“It’ll be a great atmosphere and I’m sure the Raith Rovers fans will be pretty vociferous,” he warned. “We have to be ready for that and match whatever they throw at us.”
