Celtic manager Neil Lennon is looking forward to the big Old Firm showdown this weekend despite already having much to think about in terms of preparation for the game.

Eight successive league victories this season for both clubs has already drawn them well away from the rest of the division, and Lennon will be hoping to make full use of home advantage and strike an early blow in favour of the Bhoys.

“I think everyone else is looking forward to it, but I have other things to think about, in terms of team selection and preparation,” he told Celtic’s official website. “I am pretty much engrossed in all that at the minute.

“I am looking forward to it and I am looking forward to seeing how the team handles a very good Rangers team, but the derby games, for managers, are not the most enjoyable experiences.

“We`ll try and keep a lid on things and not get carried away,” he added. “Other people will hype the game up and we can`t control that, so we`ll just try and concentrate on winning a game of football.”
