Lennon offers exciting transfer update as Celtic look to make splash in coming weeks

|

As quoted by the Scottish Sun, Celtic manager Neil Lennon has said that he will now be looking to spend in the final weeks of the transfer window after Kieran Tierney left the club yesterday.

It was a sad day for all involved in seeing KT leave the club but perhaps we did expect it this summer most of all as Arsenal were very keen on getting business done.

We’ve got some decent money in in order to try and improve the state of the squad, then, and Lennon is looking to do exactly that.

Indeed, he revealed in a rather exciting couple of lines:

“We’ll look to bring another left-back in, no question, and a right-back as well, a left winger, a right winger and maybe a centre-forward.”

A left-back is a no-brainer now, of course, and whoever comes in is going to have some act to follow in Tierney.

It’ll be a fun few weeks by the looks of it, though, and hopefully we are done in terms of letting players go this summer now.
