Lennon offers update on future of 23-year-old ace

|

As quoted by the Scottish Sun, Celtic manager Neil Lennon has revealed that midfielder Olivier Ntcham has not had any bids come in for him so far this summer.

Ntcham’s situation has been splashed all over the tabloids this transfer window but as things stand he is still our player and Lennon has every intention of using him until the case is otherwise.

Quoted by the report, he revealed that nothing has come in for him and that he will be expecting the 23-year-old to start working hard ahead of a new season where he could still end up featuring in the green and white hoops.

The boss said:

“There has been nothing so far.

“It’s a question of him knuckling down now, being a Celtic player and doing what he is good at. That’s what we want from him.”

We’ll have to wait and see whether Ntcham does indeed knuckle down or whether he throws his toys out of the pram.
If no offers have come in, though, there is not a lot anyone can do and he’ll have to get his head down – we’ll soon see whether that is the case.
