Lennon ready to make bold selection call ahead of Hearts final

|

Concentration is now fully on Celtic trying to win an historic third treble on the bounce this weekend and the excitement is already approaching fever pitch.

We’re truly in unchartered territory now and sealing a third domestic clean sweep is going to go down in folklore for generations.

For sure, then, the Bhoys will be determined to carve their names into the history books and it looks as though Neil Lennon is ready to be bold with his squad selection.

Telling Celtic TV – via Irish News – the boss has suggested that young Karamoko Dembele could be a part of things come the final.

He said:

“He’s certainly put himself forward for selection for the squad. He’s training this week, he’s fit, he’s available. I’ve no hesitation in bringing him into the squad this week.”

Whilst it might not be wise to expect the kid to start, it does look as though he could be there as part of the squad and what an experience that’ll be for him.

He did well last weekend against the Jambos and you’d never back against him making an impact this weekend too.
