Lennon revels transfer plan should Celtic receive 22-y/o blow

Kieran Tierney in action for Celtic

As quoted by the Herald, Neil Lennon has revealed that he will look to bring in a new face to the side if Kieran Tierney leaves the club.

KT has been heavily linked away from the Hoops this summer and it looks as though a move to Arsenal could be on the cards before the transfer window shuts for business in England.

We’ve got until the end of the month if we need to find a replacement, then, and Lennon has revealed that that is exactly what he and his team will look to do should they have to.

He said:

“We would look to bring another one in as well if KT goes. I don’t think there’s any question that we would have to do that anyway.”

Of course, we’d rather he didn’t have to go and find a new face to replace Tierney but the Scottish international is destined for the very top, and that probably means moving leagues.

Hopefully, if we need to, we’ll find an ideal replacement for the left-back, but that is going to be no easy feat.
