Lennon sends Celtic players warning ahead of Cluj test tonight
Celtic are back in action tonight as they take on Romanian side CFR Cluj in the second group game of this year’s UEFA Europa League.
The Hoops have started the continental campaign well with a good point in Rennes and, on another day, we could have actually beaten the French side.
In the end, though, we got a draw and if we can build on that with a win tonight at Celtic Park then I think overall we’ll be happy with the first third of the competition.
Tonight’s opponents are obviously familiar, too, with Cluj beating us in the Champions League and so the natural thought process is that revenge is going to be on our minds.
However, Neil Lennon has sent a warning to his players that it’s important that they do not get too emotional in the clash.
