Celtic are meeting St Mirren in their Scottish Communities League Cup semi-final at Hampden Park on Sunday afternoon (kick-off 2.30pm).

“If anything goes wrong our dreams of winning the treble will evaporate” – Neil Lennon

Goalkeeper Fraser Fraser is again expected to be absent as he continues to recover from a neck injury, while forward Kris Commons is currently struggling with a rib problem.

But central defender Kelvin Wilson is available after returning from suspension.

“I am very wary of St Mirren, I am very wary of it being a semi-final at a neutral venue,” Celtic manager Neil Lennon admitted to BBC Scotland. “If we win it, we are expected to win, we lose and it is a big cup upset. That’s why I am wary.

“We are walking on a tightrope and if anything goes wrong our dreams of winning the treble will evaporate in one game, so we need to be very careful,” he warned.

The Buddies have received international clearance for latest signing Esmael Goncalves, but Thomas Reilly is definitely out and midfielder Kenny McLean remains doubtful with knee ligament trouble.
