According to the Daily Mail, Celtic are looking at Alex Neil as a potential long-term manager for the club in the summer.

The former Norwich boss is now at Preston and in the last couple of seasons they have looked to try and get into the play-offs.

They have a chance this season in the Championship, too, but you feel as though they might fall short and that may well fall into our hands.

Indeed, Celtic are apparently looking at him with Neil Lennon only just arriving last week after Brendan Rodgers jumped ship.

Lennon is only on an interim basis at the moment but it is still safe to assume that he’d want to stay put if all goes well so it’d be interesting to see what he thought of this.

Celtic probably have to try and have a contingency plan, though, so Neil appears to be at least one of the names in the frame at the moment.
