Lennon’s first signing could be sealed in days as fee agreed for 15-goal star

|

According to the Daily Record, Celtic have agreed a fee with Motherwell for the transfer of 15-goal man David Turnbull.

The Bhoys are yet to sign anyone this summer but it looks as though that could really soon change.

According to the report, if personal terms can be agreed in the next 24 hours, the attack-minded ace could be a Bhoy before too long – making him Neil Lennon’s first summer signing.

He’s a bright young footballer that really caught the eye with Motherwell last season and the report suggests that a £3 million move has been agreed on between the clubs.

Certainly, this would be a fine start to our transfer window as he is one of the better talents for his age in the country and it’s always nice to be the side that sweeps up the best on offer in the league.

Personal terms still need to be agreed, but it does look as though – as per the report – this one is getting there now.
